Overlay is a creative plugin designed for producers and sound designers that utilizes convolution technology to transform input signals into unique textures and sonic landscapes.
Unlike a traditional sampler, the plugin performs convolution between incoming audio and selected impulse responses to create entirely new sounds, movement, and depth rather than simply playing back files.
The interface features four layers of convolution, an XY pad for mixing, an animation panel for movement, and a dedicated modulation system with up to 10 modulators to provide deep control over parameters.
Targeting a wide range of users from beat makers to sound engineers, the plugin offers over 650 free sounds and presets while allowing users to import their own samples as custom impulse responses.
