Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of True Trip Hop by Aim Audio.
Welcome to a world of trip-hop and abstract hip-hop. Inspired by artists such as Tricky and Massive Attack, and fused with the forward-thinking rhythms of the current LA beat scene.
Inside True Trip Hop, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of dusty drum loops, swung hip-hop beats, textured basslines, analogue-inspired synths, melancholic chords, atmospheric pads, and gritty percussion. The sounds range from slow-burning trip-hop rhythms to off-grid abstract hip-hop grooves, perfect for producers exploring downtempo, cinematic electronica and experimental beat music.
Drawing from the legacy of the Bristol trip-hop scene and the sample-heavy aesthetic of producers like DJ Shadow, True Trip Hop blends vintage mood with modern beat experimentation. Expect deep atmospheres, dark feelings, emotive strings and pads, superb scratch edits and timeless dope drums.
Every sound has been crafted to capture that unmistakable blend of grit, warmth and futuristic soul, making it ideal for producers working in trip-hop, abstract hip-hop, lo-fi electronica and experimental beatmaking.
