Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of Man After Man Horns Vol 3 by Renegade Audio.
Real horns, real players, real section sound. Vol. 3 brings you a full seven-voice horn section performed by Ricky Casanova of Mexico’s Man After Man, the Puebla-based dub, reggae and jazz outfit that has shared stages with Zion Train, Victor Rice, Manasseh, Dr. Ring Ding and Dubmatix.
This is the sound of a live horn section, locked in at 82 BPM in E minor and ready to drop straight into your riddims. Every phrase is delivered both as a full section and as individual instrument parts, allowing you to run the entire section, build your own voicings or pull a single flute or trombone line to accent a verse.
Four solo riffs on baritone sax, tenor sax, trombone and trumpet give you lead lines whenever your track needs a voice out front.
Every loop comes in seven versions: the clean, dry take plus six processed variations built specifically for dub. Run them through Plate or Spring Reverb, sink them into the tape echo of a Roland RE-201 Space Echo, throw them out with EchoBoy Jr., rough them up with Lo-Fi or sweep them with the FilterPhaser chain, which combines a dub filter with a Mu-Tron phaser emulation. That’s instant, dub-ready horns with no additional plugins required.
Instruments: Baritone Sax, Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Trombone, Trumpet and Flute
