ZAK Sound have released Cumberland Strings, available at the intro price of €25.90, increasing to €37.00 after the promotion.
Cumberland Strings is a musical instrument library featuring a banjo, mandolin, and acoustic guitar designed for bluegrass, ambient western, and cinematic compositions.
The library is built specifically for the free Raizes Player and provides users with a versatile sound palette ranging from direct acoustic plucks to evolving, processed cinematic textures.
Performances within the library were captured by Shannon Guitreau Barton, who brings over a decade of bluegrass experience to the individual and layered acoustic instruments.
The product includes 67 playable presets categorized into acoustic, ambient, dreamscapes, motion, MPE, and otherworldly styles to suit diverse creative needs.
Users are provided with 61 editable MIDI files that serve as flexible starting points for chord arpeggios, bluegrass rolls, and sustained atmospheric harmonies.
Technical specifications include 456 stereo samples at 48 kHz/24-bit resolution, requiring approximately 205 MB of disk space and a compatible Windows, macOS, Linux, or iPad system.
The license allows for commercial use in film, television, and games, with the software functioning offline after the initial account-based download and activation process.
