Dustopian Waves have released RHETON, available at the intro price of $13.99, increasing to $34.99 after the promotion. Use code Code RHETONINTO2660 at the checkout if required.
RHETON transforms MIDI chords into expressive, evolving performances, giving you new ways to explore your harmony, discover unexpected rhythms, and bring your progressions to life.
Explore 70+ performance styles and 25 generative engines — from acoustic-inspired fingerpicking and piano patterns to Euclidean rhythms, Fibonacci sequences, Turing machines, L-systems, Markov chains, and more powerful engines for generating unpredictable musical patterns.
- Explore new possibilities. Turn ordinary chord progressions into intricate performances, rhythmic patterns, and unexpected musical ideas.
- Give every chord its own character. Apply one style across your progression or assign different styles to individual chords.
- Shape your patterns. Edit generated notes in the piano roll, refine the results, and save your own custom styles.
- Play or generate. Use your MIDI keyboard to trigger live performances, or import existing MIDI progressions and transform them into new patterns.
- Take it into your DAW. Export your generated performances as MIDI and continue working with them in your projects.
Start with a chord progression, experiment with different styles and generative engines, and discover performances you might never have created manually.
Whether you’re looking for intricate instrumental patterns, fresh rhythmic inspiration, or something completely unexpected, RHETON offers a new way to turn harmony into motion.
