SoundGhost have released Tape Reels Chorale, available at the intro price of £14.00, increasing to £18.00 after the promotion.
Tape Reels Chorale is a warm, heavily processed collection of experimental vocal samples, transforming solo performances into rich choral drones, evolving harmonies and otherworldly vocal melodies. With 75 carefully crafted loops, the pack moves between vast harmonic layers, swirling vocal phrases and intricate textures, all recorded to tape and drenched in effects to reimagine the original content.
The collection is split into two folders: Drones, featuring mostly static loops built around sustained notes, and Motion, where layered performances, shifting harmonies and fluttering vocal patterns create a sense of movement. Some loops lend themselves to rhythmic compositions around 70 BPM, while others unfold as free-flowing soundscapes that can find a place in projects at any tempo even though they’re labeled at 70 BPM.
Stacked voices drift between chords and phrases, blurring the line between human performance and abstract texture. From subtle harmonic beds to mesmerising vocal swirls, Tape Reels Chorale offers a distinctive new voice for your next track.
