MAP Audio have released MFX, available for $80.00.
MFX is a modular multi-effects router that approaches plugin design with a refreshing, hands-on philosophy.
At its core, MFX is built around a flexible four-cell architecture. Instead of forcing you into a rigid, linear signal chain, it lets you patch cells together in serial, parallel, or complex feedback loops simply by drawing connections—complete with independent level controls right on the cables.
Each cell gives you access to a massive arsenal of built-in processing modules (spanning saturators, spatial processors, filters, and granular engines). Because every cell can house these effects, you can construct anything from a subtle, transparent mixing polish to absolute sonic destruction.
Features include:
- Visual Routing: Serial, parallel, and feedback paths mapped visually.
- Deep Modulation: Six global LFOs, assignable envelopes, followers per cell, and a Parameter Sequencer mean things are always moving.
- Combo Knobs: Map multiple disparate parameters across different cells to a single macro knob for massive, one-turn morphs.
- Live-Ready Variations: Store up to eight variations per patch and seamlessly switch between them bar-synced during a performance.
MFX is available to to PC, Mac and Linux users (VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP and standalone).
