OR-2 is an ambient texture box. It records live audio, or audio files you import, into four 10-second buffers and granulates all of them at once into lush, slowly evolving soundscapes. A grains-on-waveform display shows every grain as it plays, and a built-in modulation engine keeps the texture breathing on its own.
Features include:
- Standalone with the iPad mic or an audio interface, or as an AUv3 audio effect in AUM, GarageBand, Cubasis and other hosts
- Capture, freeze and layer up to four takes, or import WAV/AIFF into any buffer
- Record the result and save it to Files or share it
- 3 LFOs and 2 sample-and-holds, with tempo sync
- 14 factory presets; import and export your own
