Artur Nowak has released Augmatic GRE Lite for iOS, (previously desktop only), available as a FREE download.
Augmatic GRE Lite lets you quickly generate inspiring drum patterns and blend controlled randomness with perfectly locked drum loops.
Two generative sequencers, including a port of Mutable Instruments Grids Eurorack module and Euclidean sequencer, Linear Drumming and Velocity Bender allow Augmatic GRE to play rhythms that sound natural, as if they were performed by a real drummer. What would take lots of manual sequencing can be done live, with a single sweep of a knob.
Features include:
- 3 GENERATIVE CHANNELS – Bass drum, snare and hi-hat. Each channel can generate its own rhythmic voice for rich, layered drum patterns.
- TOPOGRAPHIC ENGINE – Morphs drum patterns on a XY MAP. Based on the Mutable Instruments Grids Eurorack module.
- EUCLIDEAN ENGINE – Generates evenly distributed drum patterns up to 32 steps.
- BLEND – Crossfades between TOPOGRAPHIC and EUCLIDEAN engines to create variations while preserving the core character of your groove.
- LINEAR DRUMMING – Controls which drums play together or play alone, creating clean, breathing patterns.
- VELOCITY BENDER – Shapes velocity for a more dynamic pulse. Creates ghost notes and rhythmic accents that bring patterns to life.
- SWING, SHIFT, HUMANIZATION and CLOCK DIVIDER – Fine-tune the feel of your patterns from tight and mechanical to loose and human.
