Native Instruments have released Vertikal, available for £129.00.
Vertikal is a virtual instrument library that recreates the sound of a monumental 4.5-meter vertical piano developed in collaboration with artist Nils Frahm and Galaxy Instruments.
The library features two distinct tonal characters, Pure and Felt, which were recorded in Saal 3 of the historic Funkhaus complex in Berlin to capture an extensive dynamic range and natural acoustic resonance.
Vertikal incorporates the advanced Particles 2.0 generative engine, which allows users to create evolving, atmospheric sound layers by modulating pitch, timing, and dynamics during performances.
The instrument includes a new Motion system that utilizes LFOs and polyphonic aftertouch to provide real-time expression, alongside various sound sources ranging from delicate textures to experimental soundscapes.
Designed for use with Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player, the 29 GB library offers over 150 snapshots and is available for purchase at £129.00.

Vertikal requires a free or full version of Kontakt 8.13.1 or later.
