VRAC+ is a comprehensive drum kit generation tool that allows users to input any sound and create a unique drum kit, offering advanced sound design capabilities beyond its predecessor, VRAC.
The software features an auto-slicing function to detect transients in audio, enabling quick identification of individual hits within a sample, and provides morphing models for kicks, snares, hats, and claps to sculpt desired sounds.
VRAC+ offers extensive sound design tools, including Warp, Impact, Instability, Tone Shift, Super, and a 3-band EQ for each of its 16 pads, allowing for detailed customization of each drum hit.
Key new features in VRAC+ include direct audio recording from a DAW or live input, a curated sample library developed in collaboration with foley artist Olivier Thys, and multi-out mixing with 8 stereo output pairs for individual pad control.
The plugin is designed for both performance and mixing flexibility, with MIDI Learn on all parameters, velocity mapping, choke groups, and the ability to export individual pads or the entire 16-pad kit as audio files.
Compared to the free VRAC version, VRAC+ significantly expands capabilities with more pads, advanced sound shaping tools, auto-slicing, multi-output mixing, and longer sample handling, providing a deeper instrument for sound design.

- Auto Slicing: the slicer finds every percussive, with a sensitivity control to tune how many slices it detects.

- Sound Design Tools: get under the hood of each model, Warp its dynamic envelope, shape its Impact, add Instability for human variation, and push Tone Shift, Super and EQ to finish the sound.
- Global Shaping: steer the whole kit at once with global Tone Shift, Filter, Transpose and Volume, mix-ready in seconds.
