Wild Surmise have released Ispín Saturator, available as a ‘Pay What You Like’ basis, even FREE. Donations are welcomed.
Ispín Saturator adds weight, warmth and grit to thin-sounding tracks. Push it gently for compression and glue, or drive it hard for full distortion.
- Richness – Density and drive: from subtle thickening to heavy saturation.
- Colour – Tilts the harmonics dark to bright, so the dirt sits where you want it.
- Roughness – Drives the waveform off-centre for buzz, grind and edge.
Ispín is the Irish for sausage. Wild Surmise named it that because saturation is basically the same job: take something thin, pack it full, make it satisfying.
Ispín Saturator is available to PC, Mac and iOS users (VST3, AU, AAX, CLAP and AUv3).
