ZAK Sound have released Traslasierra Guitars, available for $29.25.
Traslasierra Guitars is a unique Raizes instrument developed by ZAK Sound, featuring three handcrafted acoustic guitars made by luthier Nicolás Barberis in the Traslasierra mountains of Cordoba, Argentina.
The instrument captures the distinct characteristics of a warm nylon-string guitar (Magdalena), an articulate six-string steel guitar (Hipatia Metal), and a resonant twelve-string guitar (Raul Sors), preserving their natural detail and imperfections.
These guitars were meticulously recorded across their playable ranges with multiple dynamics and three microphone perspectives, including a warm neck, focused bridge, and natural XY stereo image.
In addition to the guitars, the library incorporates playable pads and textures shaped from field recordings of local streams, waterfalls, and birds from Los Hornillos, which can be blended with the acoustic sounds in selected presets.
Traslasierra Guitars requires Raizes Player version 1.5.9 or later.
