The ab Compressor | Limiter is a sophisticated three-dimensional dynamics processor designed for Mono, Stereo, and Ambisonics signals, offering independent control over compression, brickwall limiting, and harmonic saturation across different soundfield dimensions.
It allows users to process each dimensional pole (Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, Bottom) independently, enabling precise spatial control over dynamics and tone, with the flexibility to link dimensions for traditional bus compression or mastering workflows.
The plugin features detailed control over compressor parameters like Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Knee, and Make-Up Gain, alongside Saturation and Parallel Mix controls, all available per dimensional pole.
It supports real-time visualization of Pre, Post, and Gain Reduction, along with Spherical Harmonic Distribution, and offers mono, stereo, and Ambisonics sidechain capabilities for spatially selective compression.
