UB DSP have released Filter Blender, available at the intro price of $39.00, increasing to $68.00 after the promotion.
You know the feeling. The sweep opens, the loop starts to breathe, and you lean in. Filter Blender is built for that moment. Three carefully modelled filters run at once, and one dot moves you between them: the squelch of a diode ladder on the attack, the silk of a state-variable in the tail, and everything in between. You don’t program it. You drag, you listen, you keep what makes you grin. Joy to use, joy to hear.
Filter Blender puts three filters on the corners of a triangle: a warm transistor ladder, a screaming Sallen-Key, a lo-fi CMOS band, or any three of 12 carefully modelled circuits, each with its own cutoff, resonance and drive.
Drag one dot and your drums, bass, synths or vocals move between them. Or draw the move once and let it loop in time with the song.
- 12 filter models, each with its own slope, resonance and way of saturating
- LP, HP, BP, Notch and Bell, depending on the model
- Three more filters in the chain: comb, phaser and vowel, plus a ring mod
- A polarity flip per corner: blended, it gives hollow, phasey tones no single filter makes
- A response curve drawn from the same maths as the audio: what you see is what you hear
Filter Blender is available to PC, Mac and Linux users (VST3, AU, AAX and CLAP).
