Teletone Audio have released Lunaverb, available for $69.00.
Lunaverb is Teletone Audio’s first dedicated algorithmic reverb, they shifted the focus from replicating static physical rooms to creating a living, breathing sound environment. Instead of acting as a simple background wash, the plugin treats the reverb tail as an evolving instrument in its own right.
At the core of the user interface are primary parameters like Size and Decay. The Size control lets producers radically alter the perceived physical dimensions of the virtual space, stretching from tight, intimate reflections to massive, cinematic expanses. Meanwhile, the Decay control handles how long those reflections linger, complete with options to shape and even invert the tail for unique atmospheric builds.
What truly sets the processor apart are its secondary modulation and character tools. A dedicated Tape control introduces warmth and rolled-off highs to soften the tail, while the Drift parameter injects subtle pitch modulation and low-fi movement. Because every single control is built to be easily automated within a Digital Audio Workstation, producers can morph the space dynamically over the course of a track. Whether applied to sustained synth pads, delicate pianos, or punchy drums, Lunaverb acts less like an invisible utility effect and more like a creative partner for sound design.
