bx_bluechorus2
The Brainworx bx_bluechorus2 Chorus is an exacting plugin emulation of one of the most popular chorus pedals ever made: The Boss® CE-2®. Beloved for its rich, liquid tone and super simple operation, this chorus pedal has been used on many, many hit records over the last four decades.
Since its release in the mid-1980s, the CE-2 has seen many revisions to its design, and while they appear nearly identical, some versions have some significant circuitry and sonic differences. Most tone gurus agree that the version built in Japan during the late 80s and early 90s is the finest example, which is why Brainworx selected this revision as the basis for their model.
From smooth, subtle chorus to dramatic rotating speaker (Leslie) effects, the bx_bluechorus2 delivers classic sound to your DAW.
bx_greenscreamer
The Brainworx bx_greenscreamer Overdrive is an exacting plugin emulation of the classic Ibanez™ TS808® Tube Screamer®, one of the most popular overdrive pedals ever made. Although most closely connected with Stevie Ray Vaughan, guitarists from Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, to Steve Vai to John Mayer have made this classic pedal a key component of their tone.
So what made this pedal so special? Well, first take light-to-medium overdrive and add electronic field-effect (FET) bypass switching. Next, mix it with transistor buffers at both the input and output and bake it with an IC chip that produces symmetrical clipping of the input waveform. The result is the creation of a boutique pedal legend.
The Tube Screamer first appeared in 1979 in its original version — now highly sought-after and collectible. While all other overdrives built prior to this model were built around transistors, this pedal was the first overdrive to use the JRC 4558D integrated circuit (IC) chip. It is the most important component to the pedal’s sound and is responsible for its distinctive, thick, vocal-like, mid-range tone.
The Brainworx bx_greenscreamer is a component level emulation of this classic pedal, capturing all the warm drive and tone and putting it right inside your DAW. In addition, the plugin version allows you to do some things you could never do with a pedal, like automate all parameters, process a stereo buss or run multiple instances.
bx_yellowdrive
The bx_yellowdrive distortion pedal from Brainworx is an exacting plugin emulation of one of the most popular overdrive pedals ever made: The Boss SD-1®. Guitarists love the warm, smooth tube amplifier-like distortion and overdrive this pedal produces while responding authentically to picking technique. Unique, asymmetric overdrive circuitry delivers a genuine overdrive effect for a classic guitar sound. The tone control allows for different distortion flavors.
From subtle warming of clean tones to smooth overdrive effects, the bx_yellowdrive delivers classic sound to your DAW.
Acoustic Feedback
Screaming guitar feedback in the box! Release your inner beast with the first realistic guitar feedback simulator on the market. Go from moderate and subtle to rampant and wild by the twist of a knob (or two). To break new musical ground, try inputting a synthesizer, a violin, or even your mother’s grand piano.
One thing that is really hard to achieve with a guitar amplifier simulation plug-in or hardware is the interaction in a room between the guitar and an amplifier turned up loud. Enter Acoustic Feedback – because this plug-in does precisely that. Whether you just want single notes to keep hanging a little longer and gently fade to sustained feedback or you want instant and rampant howls for your noise rock, Acoustic Feedback is your friend.
Acoustic Feedback comes bundled with a limited version of the White amp from Vintage Amp Room.
