MPC Samples have released Rusty Drums, an MPC drum kit expansion, available as a FREE download.
Rusty Drums is an acoustic drum kit expansion featuring the multisampled recordings of an old & rusty, hand-made drum kit from 1980s Eastern Europe. The kit has a very ‘live’, roomy sound, with plenty of grit and character.
The kit features 32 unique drum and percussion articulations, each with 4 round robins mapped to a ready-to-play MPC finger drumming kit. We’ve also included 16 pre-mapped Q-LINKS to give you further sound shaping possibilities, with control over snare bleed, lofi crunch & grit, EQ and compression.
And for good measure we’ve included some additional ‘snapshot’ kits to provide a range of different drum kit sounds, along with some MIDI grooves built from real drum performances.
This expansion is compatible with all modern MPCs running with MPC 2.11 (or greater) and is also fully compatible with the Akai Force, the MPC Software, and the MPC Beats App.
