Soundiron have released Iron Pack 11 – Irish Penny Whistle, available at the intro price of $3.00, increasing to $5.00 after the promotion.
Iron Pack 11 features a chromatically sampled alto tin penny whistle. This classic folk instrument falls into the fipple flute family, similar in design to recorders and Native American wooden pentatonic flutes.
The flute was recorded dry, capturing standard sustains, vibrato, flutter tongue and trills, as well as staccatos (4x round-robin), short performance phrases and effects. The library also comes complete with plenty of additional sound design atmospheres and flute soundscapes. This 394 MB library for Kontakt and SFZ includes 168 standard pcm wav samples that can be used in any wav-compatible environment.
