Native Instruments have released Crosstalk Piano, available at the intro price of £103.20, increasing to £129.00 after the promotion.
Crosstalk Piano is a 1974 piano known for its beautiful and melancholic sound has been masterfully restored using all the original parts and carefully sampled. A variety of techniques were used to create different piano sounds, including plucked strings, a custom felt moderator between the hammers and gaffer tape on the strings. All processed sounds were heavily treated using a range of vintage gear, including old tube compressors.
Crosstalk Piano produces faithful piano samples with a soft, dark tone have been combined with a huge selection of processed multi-samples. Choose from fragile, resynthesized, and deconstructed sounds, including field recordings, weird FM pianos, guitar-like feedback loops, and much more. Then layer any sample, use the Crosstalk feature to modulate individual layer volume over time, and shape the sound with six different macros. Crosstalk Piano will take you in new directions with a deep, atmospheric sound perfect for emotional compositions.
Crosstalk Piano was created by innovative instrument developer, 10 Phantom Rooms. Specializing in next-generation Kontakt instruments for film and media composers, the company was founded by pro sound and instrument designer Tobias Menguser, alongside Paul Haslinger and other creative minds. With a career spanning three decades, Tobias has created sounds and instruments for many of the industry’s biggest names, including providing sounds for more than 500 movie trailers.
