The Unfinished have released Filterscape VA Regen, an expansion for u-he’s Filterscape, available for £14.99 +Tax.
Filterscape VA Regen is a collection of 80 synth patches and 10 filter presets for u-he’s Filterscape.
This small soundset features my initial forays into programming with the new and overhauled version of Filterscape. Although primarily a filter and EQ plugin, Filterscape also includes a rather lovely virtual analogue modelling synthesizer.
Regen provides a diverse array of sonic treasures amongst its 80 patches and will appeal to fans of my Zebra Lazarus series, and enjoy the electronic scoring of artists like Michael McCann, Sascha Dikiciyan and Pawel Blaszczak. It’s full of exciting and dynamic electronic synth sounds and sequences. There are punchy basses, warm pads, bubbling riffs and lush synths; with a keen eye on electronic scoring, synth-focused pop and atmospheric techno.
There is also a little bonus collection of 10 presets for Filterscape’s filter plug-in, to help add dynamic manipulation to Regen’s synth patches or, indeed, any synth or instrument you want to try them out on.
