Muletone Audio have release Grand Marimba, available at the intro price of $23.99, increasing to $29.99 after the promotion.
Grand Marimba is a unique capture of one of the best orchestral marimbas, the Adams Artist Alpha Series.
Using a wide variety of microphones and positions, the Grand Marimba was recorded at the Acústico Estúdio, today formed as Acústico Motor. The room measures almost 90m² and has a ceiling height of 7m.
Seven microphones were used. Close, we have a pair of DPA 4011 in L R spaced, a Neumann U87 in the center, a pair of Akgs C414 for the room, a Neumann U87 far away suspended and a Crown PZM 30D on the floor, close to the marimba bass region. The preamps were a pair of Vintech X73, a pair of Avalons 737sp, a Focusrite Red 6, a Focusrite Red 7 and a UA 2610.
Different types of high quality drumsticks were used, the White stick, which has a more closed and velvety sound and the Blue Stick, with a smaller thickness, bringing a sound with more attack and greater brightness.
The library has an extensive dynamic range of velocities. All keys of the instrument were individually sampled, resulting in over 8500 samples.

Grand Marimba requires a full version if Kontakt 6.7 or later.
