Breakshaper is tone, dynamics and dirt in one plugin and is based on the effect section of their Kontakt instrument SR Drums.
It is designed to get your drums smacking (or not) in the quickest time possible.
Initially I started loading other samples into the SR Drums instrument before having the thought that maybe it’s better if I made my own version, with a few tweaks and extra features.
Featuring a state variable filter with modulation, a tilt/smile tone control, distortion, compression and transient shaping it can get your drums where you want them with a minimum of fuss.
