WrongTools Release OSMOSIS

Following a recent pre-order, WrongTools have released OSMOSIS, available at the intro price of €112.00, increasing to €188.00 after the promotion.

OSMOSIS is a kaleidoscope of cinematic cello ensemble colours and instruments. Filled with inspiring strings patches. Recorded in incredible acoustics, and for Kontakt.

Get the emotive power of cellists interacting with each other. Listening and interplaying.

OSMOSIS empowers you to break free from static string samples. Also works as a coloniser for traditional strings libraries.

OSMOSIS was recorded in a hall that sounds intimate, yet big. Mixed down to 5 signals : Close, Decca Tree, ST-MS, Flank and Distant. The Sculpturing Engine can transform sounds into lush, organic timbres that evolve over time. Even small sounds can be magnified in size and scope.

You may also enjoy multiple patches with different layers of articulations weaved together in same patch. Where the modwheel is programmed to morph through different layers.

With the FX button engaged you can morph sounds with sadistic filters, OR create smeared walls of sound or scatteded plucky rivers, in no time, if that’s your cup of tea.

Features include:

  • Resizable UI
  • Channel strips
  • Custom in-built IRs
  • Online User Handbook
  • Randomizing Capabilities
  • Round-robin options
  • Sample Start options
  • Keyswitch options
  • Mighty sound-shaping tools
  • 5 mic positions on multi-mic patches
  • The patches offer a vast array of experimental string articulations and gestures..

OSMOSIS requires a full version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or later.
