Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of Japanese Pop by Loopmasters.
J-POP is created by well-known music production company in Kawasaki City, Diana Sound Entertainment.
Japanese music is characterized by a lot of development, using different chord progressions for the Verse A-melody, Verse B-melody (or pre-chorus) and chorus, and the ups and downs of the whole song.
This pack focuses on the urban CITY POP style music, which is one of the unique genres birthed in Japan.
Within the multiple genres inside J-POP, the trending CITY POP is somewhat ambiguous, with no clear definition.
In addition to the extensive use of analogue instruments, the melodies are in contrast to pop songs with a rustic atmosphere. Specifically, CITY POP songs have made extensive use of digital musical devices such as synthesizers, and the chord progressions have a fashionable, urban atmosphere.
You will find fashionable guitar loops, hopping bass and synth loops that can imagine like “riding a taxi on a rainy night inside the Tokyo city nights”.
Each loops are sound-designed to inspire you with retro and melancholic feelings with unique Japanese chord progressions to inspire vocals to create beautiful melodies.
Diana Sound Entertainment’s studio is equipped with ATC SCM25a Pro monitor speakers, and ADAM S2V and Neumann KH750 DSP subwoofers.
For this J-EDM production, DAWs include ProTools and Cubase, and NEVE.
Some of the Guitars, Vocal materials were recorded with the legendary Focusrite RED7, producing a natural, fat and silky sound, combined with Neumann U87 to a BLUE Microphones Bottole (tube mic) and a MANLEY/Reference Cardio.
