Plughugger have released Retrospective, available at the intro price of €9.90, increasing to €14.90 after the promotion. The offer ends March 16th.
Retrospective for Cherry Audio Mercury-6 is a celebration of 1980s, a time that saw the birth of some of the most iconic synthesizers ever made. While Mercury-6 is based on the Roland Jupiter-6, it takes it further by adding the possibility to create complex sounds by layering, a random mode for the arpeggiator and of course a great selection of effects, including a massive reverb and a creamy chorus.
With Retrospective we mainly focused on recreating the vibe of the The Golden Decade of Electronic Pop, but also take it into the modern age with genres such as Synthwave and Retrowave.
The main focus of the soundset is synths, pads and bass sounds, but we also added a handful of effects, arpeggios as well as synthesized drum and percussion sounds.
