Saint Evo – Afro Collections from Loopmasters offers vibrant rhythms and rich textures of African-inspired electronic music. This energetic collection contains loops that play between 120 to 124 BPM which embodies the signature sound of Afro House, seamlessly blending its evolving substyles, from Afro Tech and Melodic Afro House to the emerging 3-Step sound.
The pack draws inspiration from both Saint Evo’s distinctive Afro House style and the global Afro House movement. Influences include the melodic depth of the likes of Keinemusik,and the percussive energy of Thakzin, Heavy-K, and Darque. The result is a hybrid of traditional African musical elements and cutting-edge electronic influences, perfect for modern producers.
Saint Evo, a visionary DJ/Producer with East African and South Asian roots, is celebrated as a pioneer of the Afro House scene in East Africa. His musical journey is a testament to his unyielding passion for melody and his belief in the liberating power of musical expression. By blending the rhythmic essence of Afro House with the rich influences of Bango music from Kenya’s coastal region and the diverse sounds of the Equatorial region, Saint Evo crafts a sonic identity that is both innovative and deeply rooted in cultural heritage. From an early age, the rhythmic heartbeat of the Maasai people profoundly shaped Saint Evo’s artistic sensibilities. The sounds in this pack were crafted using industry-standard tools, including Logic Pro X, Serum, Logic Pro’s Alchemy & Drum Kit Designer, Native Instrument’s Massive, Errosmith’s Razor, XLN Audio’s Addictive Keys, live recordings by Saint Evo. For processing, UAD interface, alongside cutting-edge plugins from iZotope, Logic Pro X, Native Instruments, and Waves were used.
