Aurora DSP Announce Laboga Diamond Sound (Early Access)

Aurora DSP have announced the early access availability of Laboga Diamond Sound, available for $49.00, increasing to $119.00 upon its official release. The iOS version is in development.

Laboga Diamond Sound Suite includes two amp sims modeled after boutique, point-to-point hand-wired amplifiers from the respected Polish brand Laboga.

Each amp brings its own flavor—covering everything from mid-heavy classic drive to tight, modern distortion. Built for guitarists who want detail, control, and tone that reacts like the real thing.

DS100 (4xEL34)

Focused, mid-forward tone with a slightly spongier feel and simple layout. Great for classic rock, blues, and edge-of-breakup textures. Lower gain overall, with more emphasis on feel and saturation.

DS40 (4x6V6)

More modern and flexible. Features three gain modes: DS, Low Gain, and High Gain, covering everything from clean-ish grit to tight high-gain distortion. Open, controlled response, and tighter low end.

Also included: four cabinets, four speakers, pedalboard, studio rack, effects section, and useful utilities like a gate and transpose.

The pedals:

  • Flavored Overdrive – Push your amp or sculpt your tone pre-gain.
  • Octaver – Dual mode (up/down) for added depth or fuzzed-out textures.
  • Mighty Fuzz – Bold, gritty fuzz character.
  • 6-Band Input EQ – Focus your tone before hitting the amp.

The cabinets:

  • 4 cabinets modeled.
  • 4 speaker types: V30, Creamback, MT77, Veteran 30.
  • 4 mic options per cab.
  • Full cab/mic control for tone shaping

The Time FX rack:

  • Chorus – Classic Chorus gives your sound a rich, shimmering depth by subtly doubling and detuning your signal. Perfect for widening guitars, lush synths, or giving vocals that dreamy analog vibe.
  • Tremolo – Waveform Tremolo shapes your sound by rhythmically modulating the volume with selectable waveforms – from smooth sine to sharp square. Create anything from vintage pulse to experimental stutter with a twist of a knob.
  • Delay – Ping Pong delay gives you the classic stereo feedback delay moving the repetetive sounds between left and right channel. Add an extra dimension to your sound.
  • Reverb – Aurora Reverb is the universally sounding reverb effect – from small rooms to endless caves, all with just a few knob turns.

The FX Rack:

Introducing Aurora DSP’s Bass Tone Rack, a signal chain designed specifically for bass guitars, combining top-tier analog modelling and digital processing to deliver a powerful, punchy, and refined bass sound. This rack is built with the following iconic modules:

  • 10-band EQ – A classic graphic EQ, with 10 bands of +/- 12dB gain, proportional Q and VU meters. Enhanced with an additional drive module for vintage saturation.
  • Sonic optimizer – An advanced signal processor for adjusting the character of the sound. Useful for improving the low-end definition, adding some high-end clarity, as well as adjusting the overall feel.
  • Limiting amplifier – Based on a legendary FET compressor/limiter known for its fast attack times and transparent compression widely used in studios for bass to achieve punchy and smooth dynamics.
  • Leveling amplifier – Modelled after an optical tube-based compressor with a warm, smooth character. With a slow attack and release, it’s a favorite for bass processing, due to its natural-sounding compression.

Laboga Diamond Sound is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU, AAU and standalone).
