The Very Loud Indeed Co. have released Coil, available at the intro price of $39.00, increasing to $79.00 after the promotion.
Coil is a sample library based on recordings of electric and acoustic guitars, but instead of emulating those instruments, it provides a playground for “mutating” them into something unique and inspiring. These recordings include short plucked notes, as well as loops for pad-like tones, performed using an EBow and processed extensively to give each layer a distinct flavour.
All the sounds are organized in layers that can be mixed in an almost infinite number of ways to allow you to create the exact instruments you need for your compositions.
Features include:
- 858 sound files at 24 bit / 48 kHz resolution in a compact 1.6 GB footprint
- 3 sampled guitars (clean, acoustic, crunch) with open and palm muted notes.
- Simultaneously playable short notes and pads/drones in each instrument module
- 20 highly curated presets to serve as starting points or templates
- Instrument modules can be activated or deactivated to save on voices and CPU power
- All WAV files are included, so you can use them in your DAW or other samplers
