Darkplace Studio have released Caterpillar, available as a FREE download.
Caterpillar is a stereo enhancement tool taken from their previous plugin Butterfly, Caterpillar brings the SpreadEQ into a standalone package.
- Add stereo-width without sacrificing your mono images by utilizing the Spread EQ. Also great for Sounddesign.
- With the expanded footer, a set of controls give full control over aspects such as the delta/difference, dry/wet mix, bypass and polarity switching.

Darkplace Studio believe in performance and their plug-ins reflect that. All Darkpalace Studio plug-ins are rendered via OpenGL on the GPU, leaving the CPU for the crucial part which is the Audio-Processing. On top of that all of them are resizable, responsive and feature various themes with the option to create your own.
Caterpillar is available to PC, Mac and Ubuntu (VST3, AU, LV2 and CLAP).
