Butterfly is a stereo mixing utility that includes features like Spread EQ, upward compression, delay controls, and oversampling to enhance audio mixing and sound design.
Core Features include:
- Spread EQ: Enhances stereo width without compromising mono images.
- Upwards Compression: Amplifies softer parts of audio instead of traditional compression.
- Finetuned Delay: Offers Mid/Side and Left/Right delay options for creative effects.
- Oversampling: Supports up to 4X oversampling to reduce aliasing artifacts.
- Custom Controls: Provides extensive control options like delta/difference, dry/wet mix, bypass, and polarity switching.
- User-Friendly Design: Plugins are rendered using GPU (via OpenGL), are resizable, responsive, and allow users to customize themes and settings through a JSON config file.
