Equalizers

Colorful and draggable curves, dynamic bands, individual channel control, super-optimized CPU, and every bell and whistle you could wish for… plus something more. Equalizers is a fully loaded modern EQ with a hidden superpower.

Equalizers allows you to load other Softube EQ plug-ins into the Equalizers plug-in to create a one-of-a-kind EQ environment. Load Trident A-Range, Chandler Limited Curve Bender, or another vibe-laden Softube EQ and get the full experience of that plug-in plus take advantage of visualizing the unique curves of vintage EQs, combine them with up to 20 bands of modern curves, view frequency content, use dynamic EQ features, and more. With Equalizers, you get both corrective and vibey equalizing in one plug-in for an ultra-fast workflow.

Softube’s reputation for producing tools that improve workflow and offer the highest quality sound is rock solid. For over twenty years, we have forged strong partnerships with premium brands like Tube-Tech, Chandler Limited, and Empirical Labs.

This is the legacy Equalizers is built on—one of creativity, passion, and attention to detail. To create tools that innovate, you have to have heart, soul, and Rock & Roll Science.

Skip adding another EQ to your signal chain. Equalizers gives you all the benefits of a modern equalizer, plus the ability to load our modeled vintage EQs – Trident A-Range, Abbey Road RS-127, and more. You get modern and vintage, corrective and vibey, all in one elegant plug-in.

Equalizers is a modern EQ with all the features you want. We optimized the CPU and added colorful curves that you can readily move. The plug-in also features dynamic bands and individual channel control (mid, side, left, right).

Want to easily reduce harsh sibilants or a boomy kick without changing the overall tone of the track? With Equalizers, you can make bell- or shelf-shaped bands dynamic so that the gain level reacts to the incoming audio.

Equalizers offers full flexibility when it comes to handling channels. You can set each band to stereo, left, right, mid, or side for individual control of the channels. To effectively create space and balance in your mix with Equalizers, use mid/side equalization in combination with dynamic bands.

Core Vintage Equalizers

The Core Vintage equalizer was created as the counterpart to the Core Modern equalizer in our Console 1 Mixing System. Now, you can own it outside our mixing system as a smooth and musical standalone EQ plug-in.

Excellent for balancing the mix and giving it the right feeling, Core Vintage is designed for use with a modern-style EQ. Loading Core Vintage Equalizers into our Equalizers plug-in gives you both broad brushstrokes coloring plus precision and control in a streamlined workflow.

Softube have a rock-solid reputation for producing tools that improve workflow and offer high-quality sound. Our strong partnerships with premium brands, like Tube-Tech, Chandler Limited, and Empirical Labs, have been forged over twenty years.

This legacy—one of creativity, passion, and attention to detail—is what Vintage Core Equalizers is built on. To create tools that innovate, you need heart, soul, and Rock & Roll Science.

Core Vintage is a passive parallel equalizer. This means the band interaction differs from modern solid-state equalizers. Many engineers find that, because of that, parallel equalizers are more musical and vibey, albeit a bit quirkier.

The Core Vintage Equalizer is made to be musical. And if it seems like the bands’ default Q values are super wide, that’s by design. All the bands cover a full frequency range, and the idea is to use the Gain controls to broadly shape the sound without having to touch the Frequency or Q knobs.

The strange shape of the low shelving band is an artifact of the parallel design. If you boost the low shelf, you’ll see a dip above the boost frequency. That is quite typical for this type of design, and it results in a very musical emphasis of the low frequencies.

Want corrective and vibey equalizing in one plug-in? You can load this plug-in inside Equalizers to use it in conjunction with modern features, like EQ curves, a frequency analyzer, and up to 20 additional bands to continue sculpting.

Equalizers and Core Vintage Equalizers are available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
