The Multitrack Drum Loop Series combines the creative workflow of loops with the full mix control of real multi-track recordings. Soul Beats contains over 2,800 loops and is more than 7GB in size. The extensive content is sorted into 16 folders. Each of these folders contains a series of related drum performances that can easily create longer arrangements. The speed is between 60 and 147 BPM. Thanks to Elastik’s high-quality algorithms, you can adapt the loops to the pace of your project without sacrificing quality.
The library is divided into two main folders. The Mixes folder contains 288 ready-mixed drum loops for direct use in your project. In the “Singletracks” folder you will find all the individual tracks of these 288 performances. These include bass drum inside and out, snare top and bottom, hi-hat, toms, ride, overheads and room microphones. With these single tracks, you have ultimate control over your drum mix. You can control the room sound via the overheads and room microphones,Add your own EQs and compressors and create your own sound with Reverbs. The folder names are carefully selected to make the play style of the respective performance immediately recognizable. This makes it easy to find exactly the loop you need.
Soul Beats covers a wide range of soul styles, including classic Motown of the 60s, Northern Soul, Shuffles and Rimshot grooves. The Loop Pack is the ideal complement to other soul libraries such as Soul Club and Rare Grooves.
The Multitrack Drum Loop series combines the workflow benefits of loops with the mix control of complete, multi-track drum recordings. Each genre-based title in the series is a huge collection of multitrack drum performances. All recordings were made in Ueberschall’s own recording studios. Drum and cymbal combinations were selected to suit each style of music,while high-quality preamplifiers and microphones – including matched pairs if required – as well as analog compressors and limiters were used throughout the recording process. Particular attention was paid to drum tuning: some recordings contain distinctive and characteristic high- or low-voiced skins and boilers. Rare high-quality pools and an arsenal of various sticks and clubs were also used.
All drum performances in this series were recorded by exceptional drummer Matthias ‘Maze’ Meusel. Maze’s references include recording and live performances with leading artists, television and theatre work, and tours in over 30 countries.
