Desired Sounds have released Sonic KEYS, available as a FREE download.
Sonic KEYS is an e-piano that features sampled FM-keys with three switchable and mixable layers. In-built effects include a Chorus, reverb, filter and delay.
Features include:
- Three Sound Parts: FM Keys 1, FM Keys 2, plus a warm/sweet synth pad – you can select and blend these to taste (because I know you like to cook)
- Two sound profiles: 1) “Mars”: sets the sound back and sounds redder (okay, I made that last part up :), 2) “Stars”: bright and up-front (shine bright, like a diamond… batteries not included)
- “Sonic Chorus”: let the sound resound!
- Space +boost button: boosts level and applies a built-in preset reverb, with adjustable amount (fader) – easy goodness
- Echo button: applies stereo delay effect – auto-adjusts to DAW’s tempo, with amount/mix control (fader)
- LFO Speed: allows you to adjust the speed of the mod wheel’s vibrato (if assigned in your DAW)
- “Off Tune” knob: you can use this to deliberately set a part out of tune – useful for subtle detuning, Lo-Fi effects or pure craziness (hey, I’m not your mama). Or go full octave for EDM and Pop.
- Short but large on-screen keyboard: easily audition the sound using your mouse
- Long but small on-screen keyboard: as above (because I’m addicted to keyboards)
