Spitfire Audio have released Mervyn Warren Choir, available at the intronprice of $319.00, increasing to $399.00 after the promotion.
The Mervyn Warren Choir library, produced by five-time Grammy winner Mervyn Warren, is a comprehensive choral tool designed to celebrate the richness of the Black choral tradition with filmic precision and studio-grade performances.
This versatile library features 20 professional singers, including sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses, meticulously recorded at Evergreen Studios in Los Angeles to capture a wide range of expressive vocal techniques.
It offers core choral techniques such as various vowel sounds, staccato, legatos, seamless vowel morphs, layered stacked sounds, and aleatoric hairpins for dynamic and unpredictable textures.
Beyond traditional choral elements, the library includes a full Body Percussion Kit with sounds like handclaps and stomps, as well as vocal expressions like whispers, inhales, and exhales for added realism and rhythmic depth.
Mervyn Warren, a legendary figure with extensive experience in pop, R&B, jazz, and film scores, collaborated with Grammy-nominated artist Nikki Grier and a hand-picked ensemble of elite singers to realize this artistic vision.
The Mervyn Warren Choir is housed within Spitfire Audio’s Ensemble plugin and requires a 64-bit DAW, offering extensive controls for dynamics, expression, vibrato, reverb, and morphing, alongside multiple microphone perspectives.
Mervyn Warren Choir requires Spitfire Audio’s own app, available to PC and Mac users.
