Venus Theory has released auras:altis, available as a FREE download.
Auras:Altis is a Decent Sampler instrument created using the Novation Summit synthesizer, featuring 25 multisampled sound sources designed to evoke expansive, evolving cinematic textures and modern hardware synth sounds.
This instrument allows users to blend any two of the 25 sound sources via a dual-layer setup, with ‘Source Select’ knobs for on-the-fly experimentation, and includes 20 handcrafted presets plus an ‘init’ preset for custom sound design.
Developed by Venus Theory in collaboration with Jason Graves and powered by the signature ‘auras’ engine with controls for expression, dynamics, filtering, and effects, Altis provides a rich palette for creating immersive soundscapes, from subtle ambient washes to monumental backdrops, all in a compact format.
