SoundGhost have released Signa, available at the intro price of £49.00, increasing to £59.0 after the promotion.
Signa is a three-layer ambient pad instrument designed for motion, texture, and space, featuring two layers of sampled analog and digital waveforms complemented by a third layer of shifting noise textures to create a constantly evolving sound source.
The instrument is driven by smoothed random modulators that subtly shape volume, pitch, and pan of the tonal layers, with a sweeping filter affecting the entire instrument, ensuring that even simple chords remain dynamic and alive.
It incorporates built-in reverb and bit-crusher effects, allowing users to transition from lush cinematic washes to degraded tape-like grit, making it ideal for creating organic and unrepeatable pads, drones, and textures.
Signa’s core consists of 100 tonal samples and 100 noise-based textures, each shaped around unique transmission signals, which interact dynamically within the engine to produce evolving ambient tones and expressive pads.
A unique ‘rescan’ control allows for instant regeneration of sonic pairings by randomly selecting new combinations of the 200 included samples across all three layers while preserving existing sound design settings, facilitating effortless exploration of new textures.
