Aaron Rutledge Updates Tweakbench Studio

Aaron Rutledge has updated Tweakbench Studio, available for:

  • Desktop version – $60.00 (usually $170.00)
  • iOS version – $69.99

What’s new in version 4.0.260321:

  • All Plugins: UI Scaling – Completely reworked now plugins size themselves on iPad. Plugins now scale to fill the available space in your host (Logic Pro, AUM, GarageBand) while maintaining correct proportions. No more tiny Uls in a black box, and no more bottom half getting cut off.
  • Saffron: Fixed crackling/distortion when playing chords or dense passages. Voice stealing is now smarter (steals oldest releasing voice instead of cutting off active notes), and output gain scales dynamically with polyphony to prevent clipping.
  • Arsenal, Minerva, Toad: Updated to GM- standard drum note mapping (Kick=C2, Snare=D2, Hi-Hat=F#2, etc.) for compatibility with standard MIDI drum patterns and controllers

Tweakbench has recently made a major comeback. After nearly 20 years of being “legacy” 32-bit software, the entire suite was rewritten in C++ and relaunched in December 2025 for modern 64-bit systems.

Tweakbench Studio brings the full collection of Tweakbench instruments and effects to iOS as AUv3 plugins.

Install once and access all 28 plugins in your favorite ios DAW.

Tweakbench Studio is available to PC, Mac, Linux and iOS users (VST3, AU, CLAP and AUv3).
