Rast Sound have released Tamer, available at the intro price of €59.00, increasing to €99.00 after the promotion.
Tamer is a Dynamic Resonance Suppressor plugin that intelligently detects and suppresses unwanted resonant frequencies in real-time, only engaging when a problem appears and disengaging when it ceases, thereby preserving the integrity of the original audio.
It offers versatile application across vocals, instruments, mix bus, drums, rooms, mics, and mastering, with features like real-time detection, transient protection (TRP), and mid-side processing to precisely target and address resonances without affecting desirable audio characteristics.
The plugin provides intuitive controls including AMOUNT for sensitivity and depth, FOCUS to adjust the range of resonances targeted, SPREAD for the width of suppression, and adjustable ATTACK and RELEASE times to tailor its response to different audio material.
Tamer’s display shows a live spectrum with suppression overlays, allowing users to visually identify and set boundaries (LO/HI LIMIT) for untouched frequencies, and the DELTA mode enables auditioning only the removed frequencies to confirm settings.
Tamer ships with 45 factory presets designed to address specific audio problems, and features two quality modes (ECO and HIGH) for different use cases.

Tamer is available to.PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
