Auddict’s Prestige Violin is a virtual solo violin library that utilizes a proprietary AI-P pipeline to refine every sample at the waveform level, aiming to achieve a level of realism previously unattainable with manual editing.
This AI processing extends to all 15 articulations, including legatos, shorts, and sustains, across 7x round robins and multiple dynamic layers, ensuring zero artifacts and uncompromising quality.
The library features a unique legato system that is up to twice as smooth as traditional true-legato, with three distinct modes (Vibrato, Non-Vib, Bowed) and dynamic layers that respond to the mod wheel like real bow pressure.
Prestige Violin offers a comprehensive range of 15 articulations, including staccato, spiccato, pizzicato, col legno, harmonics, sul ponticello, and sul tasto, each meticulously processed by the AI.
It includes three mixable microphone positions, allowing users to sculpt their desired tone from intimate close-up to distant ambience, all while maintaining consistency across articulations.
The user interface provides onboard FX such as Legato Aid, Stereo Width, and Reverb, along with intelligent dynamic mapping and fine-grained mod-wheel response, enabling detailed sound shaping within Kontakt.
Performed by violinist Constance Gerault, Prestige Violin aims to capture the nuanced expression and musicality of a live performer, making the virtual instrument feel genuinely alive and responsive.
