Introducing Rackmode Signal Processors: a bundle of seven stunning virtual effects and an instrument plugin that bring back the legendary sound of the Moog Signal Processors from the 1970s and ‘80s. This is the first time ever that these analog gems have been recreated as virtual effects, thanks to our collaboration with synth guru and DSP wizard Mark Barton (MRB), who modeled them with circuit-level accuracy based on the original hardware.
The bundle includes:
- Rackmode Phaser
- Rackmode Ring Modulator
- Rackmode String Filter
- Rackmode Frequency Shifter
- Rackmode Graphic EQ
- Rackmode Parametric EQ
- Rackmode Vocoder (instrument and effects versions)
The Moog Signal Processors were designed to revolutionize studio production in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. They featured groundbreaking products like the 16 Channel Vocoder (by pioneer Harald Bode), the 12 Stage Phaser, and the Ten Band Graphic and Three Band Parametric Equalizers. Other related products were the Harald Bode-designed Frequency Shifter and Ring Modulator, and the unique String Filter created by Moog’s Custom Engineering Group.
