Toontrack have released Beat Ideas, a melodic EZkeys expansion, available for €29.00.
Writing for a genre that’s repetitive at heart, hip-hop beatmakers are masters at taking just one raw theme and twisting, turning and churning it until it’s pure gold.
With that songwriting alchemy in mind, this MIDI pack combined with the creative framework of EZkeys 2 is the ultimate sketchbook of melodic starting points for hip-hop-inspired loops, beats and songs. In total, it includes 20 individually mapped out “songs.” Each one is organized in an ‘A’ and a ‘B’ part where the former is the main theme and the latter a breakdown of sorts.
Of course, every folder includes several variations of each idea, ensuring that you seamlessly can blend and fuse blocks to come up with your own flow throughout a track.
