Oblique III is the long-awaited third chapter in our Oblique series of solo string libraries, focused on creating moods typical of genres like thrillers, dark drama and horror. It features symphonic violinist Ingrid Solano using her stellar skills to conjure haunting, tortured and emotionally damaged sounds out of her instrument.
This is not a violin library meant for composing romantic comedies or beautiful heartwarming pieces. It’s meant to put darkness and madness at your fingertips, to underline scenes that portray fear, anxiety and hopelessness.
Oblique III has been recorded with extreme dynamics, from a pianissimo super sul tasto to a violent fortissimo. And with features like the Despair control, you can easily shift from a feeling of uneasiness all the way to the realm of terror.
