Audio Plugin Deals are offering 71% off Rendition by Nightfox Audio for a limited time, now only $29.00, (usually $99.00). The offer ends August 13th.
Rendition empowers your MIDI instruments, turning simple inputs into rich, expressive musical output. It features an advanced arpeggiator, one-note chord expansion, and deeply customizable performance modifiers.
Unlock complex chord progressions with a single finger, or add a fully customizable arpeggiator to your chords. Rendition helps you find immediate inspiration without extensive music theory knowledge, perfect for both composing and live performance.
Real-time modification, keyboard zones, and custom scale creation give you unparalleled control. Organize your presets into Setlists for seamless live use.
At its core, Rendition functions as your MIDI brain, allowing you to split your keyboard into up to four customizable zones: Chord, Arpeggiator, Modifier, and Normal. Each section can be assigned a distinct behavior. For example, one range might play chords in a specific scale, while another triggers modifiers such as “Spread” or “Power Chord”. Further up the keyboard, you could be arpeggiating live notes with swing and human feel, or letting keys remain in their original, unmodified state.
Rendition is packed with deeply musical options, including a rich selection of chord voicings, velocity humanization, and diverse arpeggio patterns. The Scale-aware Chord mode allows you to select from over 28 scales, ranging from Ionian and Dorian to Harmonic Minor, Pentatonic, and Raga Bhairav, for precise chord generation. You’ll find extensive chord modifiers, such as inversions, octave spreads, voicing tweaks, power chords, and suspended and extended chords. Chord playback offers options like Hold, Relatch, Momentary, Polyphonic, or Monophonic. The Arpeggiator features include latch, hold, MIDI thru, swing, humanized velocity and note length, and 21 pattern shapes. Notably, Arpeggiator and Chord modes can be combined for even more complex arrangements. For a truly human feel, you can apply MIDI humanization controls for velocity and input delay randomization with customizable ranges.
This MIDI plugin is compatible with all major DAWs. It can be placed on MIDI or instrument tracks before your instrument plugin, sending MIDI output as if from a physical controller. For seamless integration, it listens to the DAW clock for tempo sync, with a manual tempo setting available in its Standalone app. The plugin ships with a large library of MIDI presets and features Setlists, allowing you to create and reorder custom banks of up to 30 presets, saving multiple Setlists for different projects or styles. All important parameters are fully automation-capable and CC mappable, giving you complete control over your sound.
Whether you’re crafting melodies, scoring for film, or arranging full tracks, Rendition is a creative tool that makes complex MIDI ideas easy to play and endlessly tweakable. Discover how it can be the spark that keeps your sessions moving.
