Deep Waters 2 is a novel reverb plugin that utilizes neural networks and local AI to generate unique sonic spaces, moving beyond traditional sampled reverbs.
It features three distinct reverb engines: Algorithmic FDN, Neural IR, and AI Texture, which can be blended and performed in real-time using a 2D morph pad.
The AI Texture engine allows users to create entirely new reverb textures by typing plain-language prompts, such as ‘vinyl record inside a glacier’, with all AI processing done locally on the user’s machine.
The plugin includes 83 neural water sources, meticulously learned from real-world water environments, and 296 factory presets across various categories.
A key feature is the 4-node 2D blend pad, where users can place up to four reverbs and control their blend by moving a cursor, with an optional LFO for automatic animation.
Additional functionalities include a built-in FX panel with Chorus, Diffusion, and Tape Delay, as well as a ‘Freeze’ button to capture and sustain reverb tails indefinitely.
