You know that frustrating feeling: you’ve got a fantastic vocal track, but it’s a stereo disaster. It whispers in the verses and screams in the chorus. You start twisting auto EQ, side gain, correlation, learning knobs… 20 minutes later you’re still trying to figure out why it sounds either pumped or, worse, completely lifeless.
The uncomfortable truth? Traditional wideners force you to guess. Every audio source has its unique correlation characteristics, and you’re trying to set parameters “in the dark” hoping they’ll work. Meanwhile, the material you’re widening keeps changing, and you’re there micro-managing every single setting like you’re defusing a bomb.
An intelligent widener that analyzes in real-time your material, auto-calibrates all parameters, and offers you seven multi-band bands to instantly change character.
Now you can achieve professional, musical widening without the circus of infinite parameters. Whether you’re recording vocals, taming nervous acoustic guitars, or adding controlled width to the mix bus, ZeroWidth adapts to your needs with zero setup time and maximum musicality.
No more endless tweaking of auto EQs, side gains, and timing parameters that seem to change meaning every time you change audio source. ZeroWidth features real-time correlation profile analysis that automatically calibrates all widening parameters based on your audio’s unique characteristics. Just insert it on your track, hit play, and watch it lear.
Want effortless widening? Just adjust the Widening percentage from 0-100%. At 100%, ZeroWidth widens the full correlation profile detected by its analysis engine. Use the Auto EQ control to scale the per-band Auto Side EQ amount, or override the 7 manual band gains to add character and density to specific frequency bands.
Features include:
- 7-band correlation analysis — 10 kHz, 5 kHz, 2.5 kHz, 1.25 kHz, 625 Hz, 312 Hz, 156 Hz
- Auto Side EQ — per-band Side gain derived from learned correlation minima
- Auto Width (0–200%) — global Side gain driven by post-EQ wideband correlation, so widening adapts to your material
- Manual override per band — −6 dB to +6 dB on each of the 7 bands; the moment you touch one, that band is yours
- Mono-safe by design — the algorithm backs off on any band that would go out of phase; the output meter turns red on that band
- 0 samples of latency — 64-bit internal processing, M/S domain, peak-safe output at ±1.0
ZeroWidth is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
