Satoshi Kaji Releases Jardineira

Satoshi Kaji has released Jardineira, available for $2.99.

Jardineira will convert incoming singing voice to fine monophonic MIDI data using pitchBend It works as AUv3 effect.

Voice in -> Jardineira (MIDI out) -> 3rd-party instrument

There are 9 sliders:

  • “channel” means the output’s MIDI channel
  • “audio out” determines whether the input voice is turned on or off (default: OFF)
  • “pitchbend range” determines Jardineira’s internal pitchbend range
  • “transpose’ transposes MIDI note
  • “input gain” means microphone’s input gain in dB
  • “latency” : the smaller the value, the worse the analysis. this trade-off is inevitable
  • “envelope follower” determines whether envelope follower works or not (default: ON
  • “MIDI CC” determines MIDI control change number
  • “amount” determines how the envelope follower affects MIDI CC value.,
