Norwin Palme Releases ToneNoise (For IOS) – A FREE Download

Norwin Palme has released ToneNoise, available as a FREE download.

ToneNoise is a focused Audio Unit v3 plugin for iOS: a precise test and noise generator for production, sound design, and technical work.

Whether you need a reference tone, spectrum analysis, or relaxing noise — ToneNoise delivers four clear signal types with a small set of straightforward controls. The interface is built for fast use inside your host app.

Ideal for:

  • Reference and measurement tones in mobile production
  • EQ and speaker checks
  • Noise source for sound design and experimentation
  • Quick test signals in AUM, GarageBand, and other AUv3 hosts

HOW TO USE TONENOISE

  1. Launch ToneNoise once on your device (registers the Audio Units).
  2. Open it in your host, e.g. AUM:
    – as a generator: Generator channel → Audio Units → AuIm → ToneNoise
    – as an effect: Effect slot → Audio Units → AuIm → ToneNoise

ToneNoise is not a standalone DAW or recorder — you use it inside your preferred AUv3 host app.
