FLASH SALE!! ADSR Offer A Deal On DeBleed By THR

ADSR are offering 33% off deBleed by THR for a limited time, now only £33.66, (usually £54.99). The offer ends October 10th (tomorrow!!). .

deBleed is a noise gate designed to obliterate cymbal bleed. Cymbal bleed can be extremely problematic, especially once you start adding more processing such as compression, which raises the noise level, essentially pushing the cymbals forward even more. deBleed solves this issue immediately, and comes fit with an audio analyzer to help measure thresholds with ease.

It has been designed from the ground up to remove cymbal bleed effectively while still letting the Kick, Snare, and Toms ring through without affecting their tone. It achieves this by processing the Cymbal Frequencies independently from the rest of the kit, cutting out the unwanted bleed without touching the important parts of the signal.

With its built-in audio analyzer, deBleed can set the “threshold” and “debleed” values automatically for you, making the process even faster!

The “Hold” parameter keeps the gate open for longer before allowing the debleed parameter to kick in, which is extremely useful for preserving the tone of the Snare while still removing any unnecessary bleed. Just set the “Debleed” to a high value and increase the “Hold” time to roughly 100ms. This results in the Snare being allowed to ring through longer, keeping its tone intact, while the cymbals are still getting cut out.

deBleed comes with the handy “Ghost” functionality, which can be used to quickly let deBleed react to quieter snare hits, otherwise known as ghost notes, letting them through in the mix. This is a very handy parameter for quick automation, instead of having to set the threshold manually every time ghost notes need to come through.

Cymbal bleed can be extremely problematic, especially once you start adding more processing such as compression, which raises the noise level, essentially pushing the cymbals forward even more. Other methods of removing cymbal bleed rely on the use of high cut filters, but this dramatically affects the tone of the snare and even the kick & toms because they remove a lot of those higher frequencies which are an integral part of those parts of the kit (especially the snare).

deBleed employs a completely different approach and only relies on filters when pushed to the extreme to keep the drums 100% natural. Lastly, you don’t even need to spend more than 10 seconds to get the ideal results, it really is that simple!

deBleed is available to PC and Mac users (VST3, AU and AAX).
