Lighthouse Piano is a sample library for the free Kontakt, featuring a 1907 Blüthner Style VII grand piano meticulously captured in a converted cotton mill by Marcus Warner.
The library offers 6 dynamic layers and 4 round robins, with up to 10 on some notes, providing a versatile sound capable of both delicate upright-like passages and powerful concert performances.
It includes three distinct microphone mixes: Hammers for percussive detail, Body for a wider, darker tone, and Player for an immersive perspective, alongside controllable key, pedal, and player noise.
Advanced controls allow for customization of velocity response, sample start, timbre, and volume scaling, enabling users to shape the piano’s character to their specific needs.
In addition to the piano, the library includes a vintage Harmonium with specialist drone controls and 10 curated presets crafted by Marcus Warner, plus sound-designed Atmosphere Layers for enhanced ambience.
